• 6/23/05: myPhoto will be included on the cover CD of an upcoming issue of Macworld Italia (around August or so). :-)
• 6/13/05: I'm back to hosting myPhoto off of my home machine. Moving is tough!
• 5/03/05: myPhoto will be included on the cover CD of the next issue of Macworld Plus. :-)
• 4/02/05: myPhoto 1.3.1b is features in the May 2005 issue of Macworld. :-) Mac users who found this site via Macworld: be sure to upgrade to 1.5!
• 3/17/05: myPhoto 1.5 is released! If you're currently using some other web photo album package, now is definitely the time to switch. This release is a great release for everybody--new myPhoto users (it's still by far, the easiest and most effortless package out there), ex-myPhoto users (no more cache rebuild slowness or locks! Things are done much differently now, definitely worth a second look), and die-hard myPhoto users. Go check out what's new in this version and then a copy for your self!
• 2/17/05: Launched a new version of the site. Gotten a lot of positive feedback from the beta but it's also found a few things I need to work on. It's coming soon--sorry for the delays
• 2/09/05: I know that I'm behind the promised schedule, but the 1.5 beta is in pretty good shape. If you can't wait, email me to test it. And yes, it's compatible with iPhoto 5 and it fixes a lot of old myPhoto bugs.
• 2/01/05: Email me if you want to test the current myPhoto beta. It's almost there.
• 1/20/05: iPhoto 5 and myPhoto: the hot question on everybody's minds: what's going to happen? I've received preliminary reports of myPhoto 1.3.1 beta working without any problems with iPhoto 5, but I expect further testing will bring out a few bugs here and there (i.e. hierarchical albums, book/slideshow albums, etc). But no worries as I have been working hard on a new release that will come out within the next 2 weeks to ensure compatibility as well as add a few new features to myPhoto. :-)
• 9/26/04: myPhoto 1.3.1 beta is now out (most important new stuff: works with all the latest versions of iPhoto and adds Chinese and Japanese translations). I've been spending way too much time emailing a copy of it to everybody who wants it so I figured this would be easier for everybody. Does it solve all the bugs out there? Sadly not. Is there going to be a 1.3.1 final rather than beta? Maybe, but it's not a priority. Why? Well, this has inspired me to start things over with myPhoto rather than adding hack upon hack. I'm in the midst of a crazy period now with all the school, job, and wedding stuff, but once things calm down, I have some ideas to start things fresh again. When will it be done? I dunno...but it should certainly be better than things are now. Stay tuned! :-)
• 8/28/04: So I'm back in Ithaca. Working at Apple was awesome and coming back to Ithaca from California was difficult. School's back in full swing and myPhoto desperately needs an update (since iPhoto 4.0.3 sort of broke it). Stay tuned!
• 5/02/04: In my efforts to save money this summer, I will not be able to bring my computer with me to California nor will I be able to leave it on in my room in Ithaca (due to subletting). This means that the myPhoto web site will sadly be down for the better part of the summer. However, fortunately, there are mirrors of this site that will offer the same information and downloads but they will not provide all of the functionality as the original site (i.e. the forums). I apologize for the inconvenience and it is definitely something I wish I could avoid, but shipping a G5 and a CRT across the country is beyond my means right now. Thanks everybody for your understanding.

• 3/22/04: myPhoto and iPhoto 4.0.1 work fine together as far as I can tell. No worries :-)
• 3/15/04: myPhoto and Mac OS X 10.3.3 work fine together, so upgrade and no worries. :-)
• 3/02/04: So I'll be working w/everybody's favorite company in Cupertino this summer :-) ...so if you know of a good place to rent a one bedroom apartment around there, I'd really like to know about it
• 2/13/04: An issue of MacPeople (a Japanese magazine for Mac users, I think it's the January issue...it has a guy skateboarding on the cover) has a full page write-up on myPhoto (page 48, to be exact)! My first write-up...now if only I could read it...if you read this magazine and know what it says, please don't hesitate to email me because I have no clue what it says...
• 1/11/04: According to user reports, myPhoto is compatible with the new iPhoto 4. Phew!
• 1/06/04: So Apple announced a new version of iPhoto with network sharing features built-in. I can't say for sure just yet, but it appears that myPhoto and iPhoto can still (thankfully) peacefully coexist. Phew!
• 1/06/04: I'm home again and the site's back online. My server crashed as soon as I left town. Also, for the German readers, myPhoto is in the December/Januar/Februar issue of MacUp!
